The weather and boil proof phenolic exterior glueline combined with the thin ply construction create a strong, virtually void free panel that will stand up to the most demanding conditions.

1 TECPLY Brand Underlayment is manufactured with special attention to face grades, thickness and size tolerances, and overall panel quality for use as an underlayment panel.
2 Tests were performed per ASTM D 1037. Tests were performed on samples taken from three randomly selected 4' x 8' sheets of each product.
3 Values reported are the change from equilibrium at 50% Relative Humidity to equilibrium at 90% Relative Humidity as defined by the test method. Due to sampling size data is intended for informational purposes only.
TECPLY® BRAND UNDERLAYMENT 10 YEAR* WARRANTY
Tecply® Brand Underlayment is designed for use under resilient floor coverings and certain tile applications as defined in the installation guide. The warranty covers these applications only. Tecply® Brand Underlayment must be installed and handled according to the instructions found in the Tecply® Brand Underlayment installation guide.
Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation warranties Tecply® Brand Underlayment:
- will not delaminate
- will not split when fastened
- will hold floor coverings in place when installed according to the adhesive and floor covering manufacturer's instructions
In the event of a failure, Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation will, at its option:
- replace the underlayment panels; or
- repair or replace the underlayment, adhesive and floor covering affected; or
- refund the full purchase price of the underlayment, adhesive, and floor covering
Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation must receive written notification of claim along with proof of purchase and be given 30 days from the date Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation receives notification to inspect the floor. Any repairs or replacement made before Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation is not responsible for poor installation or other faults in the construction of the building including excessive moisture or for natural and man made disasters including fire, floods, standing water, all of which may effect the performance of the floor.
The foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether written, oral or implied, and all other warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed by Plywood & Wood Manufacturers Corporation. In no event shall Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation be liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, whether in contract, warranty, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise. In no event shall the liability of Plywood & Door Manufacturers Corporation exceed the purchase price of the non-conforming goods.
Warranty is for 10 years or the warranty period of the installed floor covering, whichever is shorter. No warranty is made when floor coverings are used which do not have warranties covering their performance. Relief under this warranty is prorated over the covered warranty period based on the installation date.
* WARNING! Do not sand, dry sweep, dry scrape, drill, saw, bead blast, or mechanically chip or pulverize existing resilient flooring, backing, lining felt, asphaltic "cutback" adhesive, or other adhesive. These products may contain asbestos fibers and/or crystalline silica. Avoid creating dust. Inhalation of such dust is a cancer and respiratory tract hazard. Smoking by individuals exposed to asbestos fibers greatly increases the risk of serious bodily harm. Unless positively certain that the product is a nonasbestos-containing material, you must presume it contains asbestos. Regulations may require that the material be tested to determine asbestos content. Recommended Work Practices for Removal of Resilient Floor Coverings are a defined set of instructions addressed to the task of removing all resilient floor covering structures.
NOTICE: Various federal, state and local government agencies have regulations governing the removal of inplace asbestos-containing material. If you conte plate the removal of resilient floor covering structure that contains, or is presumed to contain asbestos, you must review and comply with all applicable regulations.
